When a human being becomes survival-oriented, he naturally slips below the realm of laws, morals, ethics. Survival has no such things — it has only compulsions. That is why someone wrote, “All is fair in love and war.”
In survival, there is no right or wrong. There is only “How do I get through this moment?”
When your entire intelligence is tied up with food and shelter, you begin to function like a machine — efficient perhaps, but unconscious. The only laws that truly operate then are the laws of nature, because nature never functions out of fear, greed, or ego; it simply functions out of balance.
If you align yourself with these laws, you naturally become life-sensitive.
If you do not, you become ego-sensitive.
Today, people talk endlessly about being “health conscious.” But most of this consciousness is only about calories, diets, routines — all orbiting around survival. A mind trapped in survival cannot become conscious, because consciousness begins only when survival is handled, not worshipped.
Everywhere you go — a street, an office, an institution — things work because there are rules. If you break them, naturally there will be friction, disorder, accidents. The jungle also has its laws. You may not know them, but the animals do. They follow them effortlessly, and therefore nature supports them effortlessly.
Have you ever seen a wild animal depressed, anxious, or lost?
Only human beings suffer life so profoundly — not because life is difficult, but because they took their office rules more seriously than the laws of existence. They became masters of survival, but strangers to life.
If you want health, if you want well-being, first understand the laws of the cosmos. Live by them, and life will flower. For example, when the sun rises and the body is still fresh and cool, stuffing yourself with heavy masala food is not intelligence — then you need pantoprazole, cardamom, trikatu, and a pharmacy to manage your own lack of sense. Instead of running behind medicines, simply align with nature.
Everything — how you walk, talk, eat, breathe — can become a graceful process when you understand how nature functions. Then health is not something you pursue; it is something that happens. Spirituality is not something you believe; it becomes your very reality.
Right now, people are in survival mode and calling it “being health conscious.” They are worshipping gods and goddesses not out of devotion, but out of fear — to ensure their survival continues. This is not living. This is trying to overpower life with your own ignorance.
If we continue like this, no matter what technologies we invent or what cities we build, one day it will collapse. Because anything built against the laws of nature will inevitably fall.
It is time you open your eyes.
It is time you see — not according to your fears, but as life truly is.
