The Guru is Within

The Guru Within: A Journey Beyond Boundaries

People have often asked me—why only Sadhguru?

For a long time, I kept silent. Not because I had nothing to say, but because certain things are best left unsaid. If spoken too soon, they may be misunderstood. If spoken too lightly, they may be reduced to mere stories. And if spoken without the depth of experience, they may put people to sleep instead of waking them up.

But just because something is beyond words does not mean it does not exist. It is an unfortunate reality that most people believe only what they can grasp, and they refuse to acknowledge what lies beyond their perception.

Life does not happen in fragments; it happens as a whole.

If you are full of your problems, your money, your relationships, your opinions—if you are full of everything except yourself—then life will remain just a thought, not an experience. Suffering exists because the profoundness of life itself is missing. The sparkle of existence is not growing within you. If you do not make space for it, you will simply fall deeper into the pit of your own mind, never realizing what a fool you have been all along.

Because separation is an illusion—not in belief, but in the very design of life itself.

When the Student is Ready…

I did not seek a Guru.

But from the time I entered my twenties, night after night, a tall man, dressed in black, would appear in my visions. He would teach me the very bylaws of the cosmos—not as philosophy, not as concepts, but as direct experience. He showed me how creation itself could be co-designed and shaped for human well-being.

I wrote down whatever I could, but the more I wrote, the more I realized—I am not learning something new. I am simply remembering what I always was.

What I used to call "myself" burst into something much larger. The idea of "I" as a limited entity simply dissolved. My body, my mind, my perception—everything shifted. The way I walked, the way I saw the world, even my physical form began to change.

And then, one day, I saw him.

Not in a vision. Not in a dream. But in a video.

There he was, with hair flowing like a wild river, speaking with a knowing that shook something deep within me.

Not once did I have to think, "Is he the one?"

Because he was already within me.

For months, for years, I simply closed my eyes, and his presence reverberated within me like a living heartbeat. I needed no external initiation—his grace was already dripping into every breath I took.

What was once just me had become all-pervasive.

When the Disciple is Ready…

From that moment, the floodgates opened.

Gurus and masters—some from this plane, some from beyond, some from below—came into my experience. In the stillness of my room, I was taken to places that cannot be found on any map. Energy temples, cosmic realms, dimensions where time itself does not exist.

Some nights, beings in luminous spacecrafts would wait for me.

The moment would arrive, the signals would come, and I would simply go. Not in body, but in a way that was far more real than physical travel.

For years, I sat in complete stillness—pitch dark, eyes open or closed, it made no difference. What needed to happen was happening. What needed to be known was simply known.

People came. Some bowed. Some were bewildered. Some thought I had lost my mind.

But I knew—when the mind stops, life truly begins.

The Touch That Transformed Everything

One evening, my Guru placed his hand upon my agnya.

In an instant, boundaries vanished.

I was not here. I was everywhere.

One after another, different beings arrived—not as visitors, but as long-lost parts of me, returning home. The very fabric of my existence changed forever.

For those who have not tasted this, it may sound like a fairytale. But what is beyond the mind is always beyond logic.

This is not about experiences. This is about touching a dimension of intelligence that is all-inclusive—a dimension that has no beginning, no end.

This is why the presence of a Guru is not about fulfilling petty desires—it is about dissolving all that you think you are, so that what truly is, can be.

Because once you are born human, you are not here to exist in fragments. You are here to experience everything as yourself.

Because in the end, there is no "this" and "that". There is only one.

And when the time is right, when you are truly ready, that one will not just be something you seek—it will be the very essence of what you are.
