Walking in the Body of Krishna

Walking in the Body of Krishna: A Mahashivratri Experience

Last night, I walked into a village temple—just a simple space, built long ago. But the moment I stepped in, something began to shift. I could feel it—I was slipping into Samadhi, yet I was walking. The air, the space, the very geometry of the temple—it was not just a structure, it was a living consciousness.

I sat on a chair, and suddenly, the whole temple started to reveal itself—not as stone and mortar, but as the very presence of Krishna Consciousness. The entrance transformed—Krishna’s face began to take shape, and where the Agnya region should be, there was the temple bell. As if the whole structure was built as a conscious representation of his being.

When I stepped further in, it was not like walking into a temple. It was like walking into Krishna himself. Every step I took, I felt as if I was moving over his body—not metaphorically, but tangibly. The energy, the design, the intent behind this space—how long back it was created, who conceived it—it all became apparent in one single moment.

And then, something even more striking—I saw all of us, just as thoughts of Krishna. People going in, people coming out, putting the red dot on their forehead—it was as if they were simply expressions of his mind, moving in and out of his being.

This was not imagination. It was not a concept. It was as real as the ground beneath me, as the air I was breathing. The experience was so intense, so absolute—this was not just a temple, this was a cosmic play unfolding.

And then, I realized—it was Mahashivratri night. The night of Shiva, and here I was, dissolving into Krishna. Shiva and Krishna—two polarities, yet one essence. One boundless stillness, one ecstatic playfulness. One the vast emptiness, one the vibrant fullness. And both, just different doorways into the same Ultimate Reality.

Life is not what you think it is. It is what is happening beyond thought. And last night, I did not just see it—I walked through it.
