Destiny Is Not Fixed — It Is a Movement You Must Participate In

Destiny Is Not Fixed — It Is a Movement You Must Participate In

Most people believe destiny is something that comes to them.
Something written. Something imposed. Something that “happens.”

But if destiny were truly fixed, your consciousness would be irrelevant.
Your effort would be meaningless.
Your choice would be unnecessary.

And yet, every day you choose.
You plan.
You react.
You resist.
You aspire.

So clearly, destiny is not a rigid script.

What people call destiny is often just a refined word for helplessness. When life feels overwhelming, it is convenient to say, “It is my destiny.” This becomes a subtle insurance policy against responsibility.

But existence does not operate on your excuses.

Destiny or Tendencies?

Look closely at your life.

You wake up, follow certain habits, drink your coffee or tea according to preference, go to work, react to situations, and return home. If destiny were fixed, this pattern should repeat identically for years.

But it doesn’t.

One day the coffee lover drinks tea.
One day the tea lover chooses coffee.
Situations shift. Relationships shift. You shift.

What you call destiny is mostly tendencies — psychological patterns formed by memory. You like certain things and call them “me.” You dislike certain things and push them away. First you speak of destiny, then you selectively edit it according to your preferences. Naturally, this creates inner conflict.

Destiny is not your habit.
Destiny is movement.

The Universe Moves — It Does Not Intend

Existence functions by movement, not by intention.

This movement has no personal agenda. It simply moves. As it moves, it demands certain qualities of you — sometimes inertia (tamas), sometimes balance (sattva), sometimes intense action (rajas). Nature shifts. Circumstances shift. The human system shifts.

You call this shift destiny.

But destiny is not the event.
It is the movement behind the event.

This movement carries memory. And memory creates the experience of time — past, present, future.

What has happened.
What is happening.
What may happen next.

But what you call destiny is only a tiny fragment of the next moment. Existence is far larger than your prediction of tomorrow.

Destiny Is Like a Radio Frequency

Imagine countless radio stations broadcasting simultaneously. All frequencies are present in the air. You sit at home with your radio set and tune in to one channel.

The broadcast is not limited.
Your receiver is.

Some radios can catch subtle frequencies that ordinary sets cannot — not because the universe favors them, but because the instrument is refined.

The human system is such a receiver — a transformer between the manifest and the unmanifest.

Right now, most human beings are not upgrading the instrument. They are operating with an old kit and calling its limitations “destiny.”

That is not destiny.
That is lack of refinement.

If something stagnates, it becomes disease. When there is no conscious evolution, distortion begins. If you do not refine body, mind, emotion, and energy, life cannot open new possibilities. It will keep replaying the same limited frequencies.

Yoga is the science of upgrading the receiver.

When the system is fully refined, you do not need advice for life. You perceive directly. You do not guess what is right — you know. That clarity is not belief. It is perception.

That is yoga.

Everything Is Destiny — But Not in the Way You Think

Gautama, the Buddha once indicated something profound: when life offers you something, whether it becomes part of you or you walk away from it depends on how you hold life.

In that sense, everything is destiny.

Where you are born.
What situation arises today.
Who meets you.
Who leaves you.

Situations will come because life is in motion.

Your mother may scold you.
Your partner may walk away.
A loved one may die.
A sudden opportunity may appear.

Events will happen.

But how you respond determines whether you remain trapped in tendencies or participate in the larger unfolding of life.

Life is co-creation.

The Mystery of Support and Grace

Suppose I am hungry but have no money. From somewhere, someone arrives and feeds me. Not because of magic — but because the broadcast is active. Whoever receives that frequency becomes the instrument.

My Guru used to say:

Saap kare na chaakri, panchhi kare na kaam,
Das Maluka kah gaye, sabke daata Ram.

The snake has no job.
The bird has no employment.
Yet existence sustains them.

Today I may have no wealth, but I may offer you enlightenment.
Today you may have education and money.

We stand at different points in the movement.

When I am hungry, you are destined to bring food to my plate.
When the time ripens, I am destined to bring clarity into your life.

Destiny is not punishment.
It is participation.

Upgrade the Instrument

Human beings are not limited by fate. They are limited by the refinement of their system.

If you do not consciously evolve, life feels random.
If you refine yourself, life feels intelligent.

When perception becomes total, you no longer debate destiny. You align with movement. You become receptive to grace, capable of action, and free from helplessness.

Destiny is not something written about you.

It is the vast movement of existence —
and your willingness to participate in it consciously.

Refine the instrument.
Tune into a higher frequency.
Then destiny is no longer a cage — it becomes a doorway.

In A Nutshell

Destiny is not something that comes to you.
It is not something that happens to you.

People generally think destiny means “what is going to happen next.” Something fixed. Something written. Something imposed upon them. But if destiny were truly fixed in that way, then your consciousness, your effort, your choice would have absolutely no relevance in your life.

But is that so?

Every day your mind plans.
It chooses.
It resists.
It desires.
It calculates.

If everything were fixed, there would be no need for any of this. You would simply wake up in the morning, go to the toilet, freshen up, eat your rice, go to work, take your break, drink your usual cup of coffee or tea according to your tendency — and this would go on identically for years and years.

But life does not function like that.

One day a coffee person drinks tea.
One day a tea lover goes for coffee.
Situations change. Circumstances change. You change.

So destiny is not a fixed script.

What most people call destiny is nothing but their tendencies. The more ignorant one lives, the less one knows about life, the more one talks about destiny. It becomes a kind of insurance policy for giving up. “It is my destiny” simply means, “I do not wish to take responsibility.”

Then you go by tendencies.
You go by environment.
You go by psychological patterns.
You go by behavior.
You react to outside situations.

You say you will “go with the flow,” but selectively. What you like, you keep. What you dislike, you reject. First you speak of destiny, then you start editing it according to your preferences. Naturally, you become a mess.

If destiny were fixed, you should not be editing anything.

Understand this carefully: destiny is not tendencies.

The universe does not operate by your psychological tendencies. It operates by movement. Existence is in constant motion. That movement has no intention. It simply has an urge to move.

As it moves, it demands certain qualities of existence — sometimes inertia (tamas), sometimes balance (sattva), sometimes the fire of intensity (rajas). According to this movement, nature demands changes, both within the human system and in existence as a whole.

So destiny is not your habits.
Destiny is movement.

That movement creates tendencies within you, but it is not the tendency itself. As this movement flows, it carries everything with it. That which you loosely call the soul is this movement — not a static entity but a dynamic force. And this movement carries a direction. That direction is what we call memory.

Memory here does not mean just what you remember consciously. It is the imprint of what has happened. As this movement carries memory, it creates the sense of time — past, present, and future.

What has happened.
What is happening.
What is about to happen.

And what you call destiny is just a tiny fragment of what is about to happen next. But that is the smallest slice of what is truly occurring in existence.

Let me put it this way.

Destiny is like a radio station.

Channels are constantly being projected into the air. They are all there. You sit in your house with your radio set and tune into one channel. Depending on how refined your radio kit is, you receive certain frequencies. Some radios can tune into subtle ranges that ordinary sets cannot receive — not because the broadcast is special for them, but because the instrument is refined.

The human system is that radio — a transformer between the manifest and the unmanifest.

Right now most human beings are not thinking about upgrading the kit. They are using an old instrument and declaring, “This is my destiny,” simply because only a few channels are available to them.

That is not destiny.
That is limitation.

If something stagnates, it becomes disease. When there is no refinement, everything gradually moves toward distortion. If you do not consciously refine this system — body, mind, emotion, energy — life will not open up new possibilities for you. It will keep replaying the same limited frequencies.

Yoga means refining the instrument.

When the system becomes fully refined, you become all-perceptive. When the kit functions perfectly, nobody needs to advise you about life. You will naturally know the laws of living — not because someone taught you, but because you perceive.

That is downloading life directly.
That is perceiving life as it is.
That is yoga.

Gautama Buddha once said: when life gives you something, whether it sticks to you, becomes part of you, or you walk away from it — depends on how you hold life.

In that sense, everything is destiny.

Where you are born.
What clothes you wear today.
What face you keep today.
What behavior you display.

All of it depends upon you — your awareness.

Situations will anyway come because existence is in movement.

Your mother may come and shout at you.
Your girlfriend may suddenly leave you.
A close relative may die today.
Anything can happen.

But how you respond decides whether you remain locked in tendencies or you become a participant in the greater destiny of life.

Life is co-creation.

Suppose I am hungry but I have no money. From somewhere someone will come and feed me — not as a miracle, but because the broadcast is on. Whoever receives that signal becomes the instrument to bring food. That is destiny.

My Guru used to say:

Saap kare na chaakri, panchhi kare na kaam,
Das Maluka kah gaye, sabke daata Ram
.

The snake does no job.
The bird does no employment.
Yet existence nourishes them.

Today I may not have money — but I may offer you enlightenment.
Today you may have education and wealth.

We walk different paths.

When I am hungry, you are destined to bring food to my plate.
When the time comes, I am destined to bring light into your life.

So destiny is not a prison.
It is participation.

You are not suffering a fixed future —
you are constantly tuning into existence.

Refine the instrument, and you participate consciously.
Remain unconscious, and you call it fate.

That is all the difference.
